He's only a few weeks into his one-year prison term, and already Lil Wayne is full of gratitude for the support of his fans, who have been writing to him while he's incarcerated in Helmhurst, N.Y. The rapper is so happy for the love being sent his way, he's sending some back, via his new blog, Weezy Thanx You.
With a picture of some of the mail he's already received to start the post, Lil Wayne waxes on about his gratitude to those writing to him.
"During my prison stint, I want my fans to know I love you," he writes on the new blog. "I want all of you to know that I appreciate all the mail I get, and this is my way of saying thank you. The F is for Family, Friends, and Fans."

And in case his followers are worried about him, the rapper goes on to reassure them that he'll be fine.
"Love. Live. Life. Proceed. Progress. That’s who I am and who I’ll always be. You see, we’re all living on borrowed time, so I’m not worried about this situation. Life happens quick. The more time you spend contemplating what you should have done…you lose valuable time planning what you can and will do," he ruminates. "Trying to tear down the past prohibits you from building up your future. So for my time here, my physical will be confined to the yard. My love and my spirit, however, know no boundaries."

He goes on to write about missing his kid, the ESPN blog he'll be continuing soon, his workouts and reading the Bible.
And then in a direct thank you to specific fans, Lil Wayne addresses a few of the letters he's received, naming three people who've contacted him and sending them a personal message.
We can't wait to see what else Lil Wayne will have in store in the coming months!
