Will Lindsay Lohan's legal problems ever end?

OK! GALLERY: LINDSAY LOHAN HEADS TO COURT... AGAIN

Just a few weeks after being taken off formal probation (her status is now informal probation due to a 2011 shoplifting case), it looks like detectives are gearing up to file a possible assault case against Lindsay. For a few weeks it looked as if this latest blip would disappear and Lindsay would prance away charge-free, but RadarOnline.com reported this morning that new evidence has surfaced that Lindsay was indeed at the hotel. Of course.

Detectives at the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department received a surveillance video of Lindsay that night at the Standard and three separate people have filed police reports. Whether or not she can add "assault" to her impressive legal resume remains to be seen, however, as Marisa's camp says she just wants an apology if nothing else.

"My client, Marisa Dugas just wants Lindsay Lohan to publicly apologize to her for the assault, and be held responsible for her actions," the source told RadarOnline.com.

In other Lohan Legal news, she's apparently also being investigated for hit and run. Lindsay was driving away from a Hollywood club and hit Thaer Kamal and sped off into the distance.

I think it's official — Lindsay Lohan should just stay home at night and she certainly shouldn't be operating a motor vehicle. Agree?
