Lindsay Lohan was supposed to have a televised chat with the Today show's Matt Lauer, but when the starlet canceled the appearance, NBC was reportedly shocked. Now a new report suggests LiLo's reluctance to invade morning TV may have something to do with her failed alcohol test.

TMZ reports that their sources at NBC were "mystified" when Lindsay axed the alleged 15-minute interview she had scheduled with Matt.

So why did she pull the plug on the sit-down?

Her failed urine test, TMZ reports.

If Lindsay was going to talk about how she was turning her life around, the news of the alleged failed test would not paint Lindsay in the best light for the millions of Americans who are watching.

Earlier today, TMZ reported that Lindsay submitted to two urine tests a week ago, and tested positive for alcohol in one of them, and the other negative. No evidence of drugs were found in her system.

As a result of the alcohol found in her body, Lindsay will be leaving house arrest and heading to the courthouse.

She has been ordered in court today at 10 a.m PT, 1 p.m. ET.

The L.A. County Probation Department wants Judge Stephanie Sautner to end Lindsay's house arrest and sentence her to jail time, according to TMZ.
