Last night, Modern Famly stars Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell hosted the 2012 Billboard Music Awards and watched award after award bestowed upon Adele!

OK! NEWS: WHO IS JUSTIN BIEBER'S DATE FOR THE 2012 BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS?

The British singer won 12 awards out of 18 nominations from her huge album, 21. This included accolades for top artist, top female artist, and top album. She wasn't at the awards ceremony — however, another big winner, LMFAO was on hand.

The uncle-nephew duo of Redfoo and SkyBlu rocked out in their over-the-top fashion and snagged statues for "Party Rock Anthem" as song of the year and also took the award for top duo/group — as well as four more awards for a total of six.

Chris Brown, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift also won statues, as did Katy Perry. Justin also performed, and his rendition of "Boyfriend" included dancers dressed up as clowns. He won the award for the most social artist. The Biebs thanked his 22 million Twitter followers and 43 million Facebook fans, reminding the audience, "the Internet is where I got my start."

The night wasn't without somber moments, too, as Julie and Ty paused at the beginning of the show to pay homage to Bee Gees star Robin Gibb, who died of cancer earlier in the day. Natasha Bedingfield paid tribute to Donna Summer, while Wiz Khalifa praised late Beastie Boy Adam "MCA" Yauch. And then John Legend and Jordin Sparks sang "The Greatest Love of All" and "I Will Always Love You" to remember Whitney Houston.
