PHOTOS: Meet the New Coaches of The Face

OK! Magazine: How has being a coach on The Face changed your opinion on the way fashion is portrayed on TV?

Lydia Hearst: It’s interesting because this is the first time that I’ve had to coach what I do every single day. I find it exciting to be able to shape young minds. It’s a lot harder than I thought. If you watch the show, I’ve definitely been trying to break down the wall to reach them and get them to step outside their comfort zone a bit more.

OK!: Did someone do that for you?

LH: My mom was laughing one day because I have always been very over-the-top and very theatrical, so I think my problem is that I might be too much. I have a hard time dialing it back sometimes.

OK!: You have a long history of modeling. What’s the most emotional modeling experience you’ve had?

LH: Still one of the most surreal moments of my life was my first job ever on the cover of the Italian Vogue. And this show! We all have our moments! There are still five very long episodes left!

OK!: Obviously you’re such an influencer in the community, and the girls are probably really appreciative of that. Who is someone you would fan-girl over?

LH: Angelina Jolie.

OK!: So we hear you like to cook. What new recipes are you obsessed with?

LH: This is going to sound really weird, and I haven’t tried it yet. I don't know if you saw in in Elle recently that there is a chef who makes chocolate chip cookies. They are very high in protein because the chef grinds up grasshoppers. I have a feeling that bugs are going to start trending.

OK!: It's no secret. Your skin is flawless. What's your routine like?

LH:  I am particular with my skin. I always wear the Neutrogena 110 SPF. I live here and in Los Angeles, and I just don’t want to risk the sun exposure. I wash my face every night before I go to bed, and for that I use Essential Oils. I don’t use a basic face wash even for removing makeup. And I love La Mer. I put it on every night before I go to bed. I put it on my face, my hands, and my feet.

OK!: Now that we covered beauty, what’s the last thing you bought?

LH: Probably this dress.

OK!: Who is it by?

LH: Alice + Olivia. This dress was actually a gown and I chopped it off.

OK!: What’s the song you can’t keep off of repeat?

LH: I feel like it’s a lot of them, but I’m not going to lie. Lady Gaga has won my heart. I wasn’t feeling it at first, but I’m kind of obsessed with the “G.U.Y.” song and it’s not just because it was filmed in the Hearst Castle. It’s genuinely a good song.

OK!: If there was a song you could walk to on the catwalk, what would it be?

LH: Honestly, anything that has a good beat. Beyonce, Jay Z, Shakira.

OK!: What’s one item every girl should have in their closet?

LH: A fabulous pair of stilettos—and then one pair of Louboutins!
