In a sneak peek for the season premiere of Teen Mom OG, Maci Bookout’s baby daddy Ryan Edwards refused to drop their son Bentley off on his first day of school.

“I doubt I’m going to wake up and get in the car with Maci and drop him off at school, probably not,” Ryan told his friends over lunch. “That would be kind of awkward.”

When they suggested he meet them at school instead of riding with them in their car, he continued to make excuses.

“Do you know how hard it would be to try to meet up with each other just to watch him walk out of the car and into school?” he asked. “It’s just his first day in another grade.” Ouch!

But Ryan skipping out on the milestone may have not been the worst thing, as he had no clue when the first day of school was!

Luckily for Bentley, he had his mom and her boyfriend Taylor McKinney to kick off the first grade with him!
