This morning when Jimmy Kimmel and Kerry Washington announced nominees for the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards, a few shows seemed to clean up with noms.

Mad Men, American Horror Story and Downton Abbey cleaned up, and HBO newcomers Girls and Veep also earned honors.

Mad Men and American Horror Story tied with the most nominations at 17. Lena Dunham and Julia Louis-Dreyfus of Girls and Veep, respectively, each got nominated for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
