Darlings! It was a hot summer night in the city known as New York!

Muggles filled the streets in glamourous gowns and not a one looking a day older than when a generation began. 'Twas the last night Harry Potter would... well, darlings I cannot tell you what happens in the end, but... I can tell you what everyone wore on the most fabulous night in NYC.

Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, the most looked-after stars of the night, sparkled in luminescent fabrics that gave their youthful characters a modern twist.

Emma wearing Bottega Venetta looked stunning in what appeared to be a canvas bodice and beautifully draped taffeta.

Daniel looked handsome in a very clean tailored suit with modern satin finishing on his collar and lapel.

I love Emma's three ensembles but the lace and gold Rafael Lopez Gown she wore to the London premiere was STUNNING!

Tom Felton was the most stylish of the bunch in a suit by Dolce and Gabbana. I simply adore Imelda Staunton's Vivian Westwood Dress at the London premiere. JK Rowling looked luminescent in a lovely bouquet of flora. I revere this woman as one of my greatest icons next to Audrey Hepburn and Oprah.

The men all around played it very safe, until one, Matthew Broderick, lit up the NYC red carpet in a silver peak lapel suit. Son James looked so smart with a retro 1930s edge, and stunning Sarah Jessica Parker looked radiant in Oscar de la Renta.

Darlings, the ravishing Anna Wintour looked radiant with her beautiful niece Ellie Wintour in Burberry, at the London premiere.

Such memories this series evokes. How the years have gone past. I remember the first book, the first movie, as if it were yesterday.

Even Hollywood's next generation of great starlet Ariana Grande tweeted this, while wearing a stunning pink Temperley London gown on the red carpet of the NYC premiere, "I feel like the ending of Harry Potter is the ending of my entire childhood!"

Well darlings, from the end of an era to the beginning of a new. The royals have been stylishly appearing in the most glamourous spots in the Americas. Showing the world that style is eminent, is the beautiful Kate Middleton. I simply adore the soft flow of the dress that she wore at the Santa Barbara Polo club. She looked radiant, but darlings, I feel that Jennifer Love Hewitt took a few too many fashion tip from Barbara Eden's I Dream of Jeanie period, YIKES!

Alas, a breath of fresh air Rosario Dawson, looks light and summery in this ensemble and the shoes are to die, to die I say!

Prince William, like I have said many times, is the most stylish man in the world. Seen here at the BAFTA awards in one of the most stunningly tailored double breasted tuxedos, reminiscent of Pierre Cardin in the 1960's, and Kate looks like a Grecian goddess in one of the most diaphanous gowns, it is utterly stunning. Some of the most memorable guests of the night included Jennifer Lopez in Emilio Pucci, and Blake Lively in a stunning Marchesa.

Well darlings, what a glamourous and nostalgic week. Until we meet again I wish you, Love and Glamour.

Bisous,
