But Maria had some good news to share with on Twitter today about Christopher's health.

Maria still wanted to make sure she kept other families in her thoughts and prayers and thank Christopher's doctors.

"We were very lucky. Many patients and families we met have been there so long and have no end in sight, Maria explained. I pray for their recovery."

"I will forever be grateful to the amazing doctors, nurses and hospital staff in the ICU who helped my son."
