Matt Damon is all about family. So even though he had to work on Valentine’s Day by attending the premiere of his new film, The Adjustment Bureau, he made sure to bring his wife, Luciana Barroso. And his co-stars tell OK! he made the set family friendly too!
Even though it’s an intense action film, the set of The Adjustment Bureau was very family friendl,y thanks to Matt.
Anthony Ruivivar, Matt’s co-star, has three children and told OK! that “For such a big film it felt like a small indie” explaining that “Everyone was so warm.”
And he was able to bring his children to set!
“They came for a couple of days. We had moved out to L.A. but I was in New York to do the film. But yeah, it was definitely very family friendly,” he told OK!. “You know, it comes top down. Matt lead the film and he’s a family guy, his kids were on set. I can’t say enough about him. Between him, the producers, and George [Nolfi, director] just top down set the tone.”
And the red carpet of their film was the same way especially since it was Valentine’s Day.
“I’ve got my wife here so that’s all perfect for me,” Matt told OK!.
So how was it for Matt to be working on such a male-dominated set, coming from a family full of girls?
“It’s a bit of shift!” he shared. “But the girls still joined me on set so that was great.”
And his co-stars praise of Matt for making the set family friendly was something the actor was very pleased to hear.
“That’s great,” he told OK!. “I mean, it really is important, so I’m happy to hear that.”
