If you were hoping to shell out a few million for a Michael Jackson portrait done by Andy Warhol, put your checkbooks away:  A New York art gallery has temporarily removed a pre-Thriller portrait of the late King of Pop from the auction block.

Since the death of MJ, enormous interest in all things Michael influenced the Vered Gallery in East Hampton to remove the 30-by-26-inch portrait, which featured the pop star in a red jacket and smiling, reports the Associated Press. The auction was to close Saturday, but pre-sale estimates already had the pic going for anywhere from $1 million to $10 million.
