Anyone who is waiting for Michelle Williams to congratulate Beyoncé on Twitter — don't hold your breath. The former Destiny's Child member went off on her Twitter account to explain why she shouldn't be expected to publicly congratulate Beyoncé on the birth of her daughter.
Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z welcomed their first child, Blue Ivy Carter, at Lenox Hill hospital in NYC via C-section over the weekend.
Michelle wasn't happy when one Twitter user wrote her a harshly worded Tweet telling her to congratulate "your king on giving birth to her child."
"Let's get ONE thing straight….I do NOT have to say congrats to someone when they're NOT on twitter…ESPECIALLY when I talk or email them all the time….or when I'll be physically present as well…so harrassing and stalking my timeline to see if I've mentioned something is POINTLESS!!!" she Tweeted. "My friendship with people aren't always for twitter display. Respect that and get a LIFE!!! Enjoy this FINE day!!! God bless!!!!"
And Michelle didn't stop there!
"This is a beautiful, precious, private time between two people and excitement is to be expected but NOT disrespect! #churchdismissed"
