Miranda Lambert is a strong, southern gal who doesn't take any crap from anyone, especially a man who abuses a woman.

The country singer is furious that the Grammys gave Chris Brown so much attention on Sunday night, allowing him to perform two times, after he beat up his former girlfriend Rihanna just three years ago before music's biggest night in 2009. (And she wasn't so happy with Nicki Minaj's weird performance either...)

"How dang long did they give Nicki Minaj to do whatever that was? Strange. And Chris Brown twice? I don't get it," Miranda Tweeted yesterday. "He beat on a girl... Not cool that we act like that didn't happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys."

Miranda is referring to her hit song "Gunpowder and Lead," which tells the story of a battered woman's desire to kill her husband. Subtle, right?

But, Miranda wasn't the only one who was disappointed about the Grammys putting a spotlight on Chris. Modern Family's Eric Stonestreet joked, "Are Chris brown's mom and dad CBS and Grammy Brown?" While Grammy-winner Michelle Branch Tweeted, "Trying not to go off on a rant but...Chris Brown...*bites tongue* have we forgiven him? #Grammys."

Sherri Shepherd thinks yes, Tweeting, "Looks like all is forgiven w Chris Brown. That's all I'll say."

But, at least Miranda was happy with some of the performers, who celebrated what the night was really about, music!

"Now...Bruno Mars...yes please! That rocked and also Adele...duh! And Jennifer Hudson! That's real music. kinda made up for all the suck," she Tweeted, adding later, "As for my tweets "it's just one clowns opinion." I love music and that's what it's all about."

What did you think of Chris' Grammy comeback — appropriate or not?
