New 'Bourne' Role Goes To Jeremy Renner

Calling all Bourne fans, the wait is finally over! After a lengthy search for a new leading man for The Bourne Legacy, Oscar-nominee Jeremy Renner has snagged the starring role!

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Jeremy will play a brand new character in the movie. As an agent, he'll be in a different government program that initially focused on Matt Damon's namesake role, Jason Bourne. Although Matt won't appear in The Bourne Legacy, his character will have a presence in the new flick.
