New 'Glee'k on the Block: Darren Everett Criss to Play Kurt's Love Interest?

We already met two new students joining the ranks at William McKinley high, but get ready for No. 3! That's right — the Glee crew is getting a newbie castmate, Darren Everett Criss!

Darren will play a new gay student at the high school and a possible love interest for Chris Colfer's character Kurt, according to E! News' Kristin Dos Santos.

The young actor is fairly new to the small screen, starring in a number of episodes of the ABC show Eastwick.

Sources tell E! Darren will play the role of Blaine, "a gay student from a rival school glee club named the Darlton Dalton Academy Warblers."

Other buzz surrounding the hit Fox musical show had fans guessing Kurt would end up with quarterback and new glee club member Sam Evans, played by Chord Overstreet.
