No wonder New Kids on the Block's Jonathan Knight wasn't upset when Tiffany publicly outed him as gay on Bravo — as far as he was concerned he was already out!

On Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, Tiffany admitted to having a relationship with Jonathan while they toured together about 20 years ago.
"The quiet one, the shy one," she said of Jonathan. "He became gay later. I didn't do it. I had issues with that. I was thinking maybe I did. Now looking back when we were dating, he was so much fun. We used to do facials together. He was so easy to talk to."
But Tiffany later issued an apology for "outing" Jonathan since the singer had never publicly said that himself.

However, it was no secret to Jonathan's friends and the singer says he's been "out" for 20 years!
"I have never been outed by anyone but myself!" Jonathan said in a statement on NKOTB's official website (via towleroad.com). "I did so almost twenty years ago. I never knew that I would have to do it all over again publicly just because I reunited with NKOTB! I have lived my life very openly and have never hidden the fact that I am gay!"
"My belief is that you live your life by example, not by a caption on a magazine!" he added. "If there has ever been any confusion about my sexuality, then you are someone that doesn't even know me!"
