Nick Charles, CNN Sportscaster, Dies at 64

Well-liked CNN sports anchor and boxing announcer, Nick Charles, lost his battle with bladder cancer. He passed away on Saturday at 64 in Santa Fe, N.M.

According to E! News, Nick's career skyrocketed when he co-anchored Sports Tonight, he was one of the first employees of CNN when it opened for business on June 1, 1980.

In addition to his anchoring gig, Nick called fights for Showtime. Showing his admiration and respect for his "friend and brother," Mike Tyson tweeted that he is "mourning the loss of a true warrior."
