Twentysomethings probably already spend some late nights searching for old videos of their favorite childhood shows on the Web, but they won’t have to search any longer. TeenNick will be airing old ’90s shows like Clarissa Explains It All starting this fall!
According to Entertainment Weekly, TeenNick will have a new programming block from midnight until 2 a.m. titled “The ’90s Are All That.”
Shows will included ones like Rugrats, Kenan & Kel, Pete & Pete, The Amanda Bynes Show, All That and Clarissa.
Nickelodeon decided bring back ’90s shows after seeing a huge interest in them on social media sites including Facebook fan pages for the shows.
“At the time, we were completely devoted to that audience ages 9, 10, and 11,” Keith Dawkins, senior VP and general manager of TeenNick, told EW. “It was ground-breaking and for the young viewers, a powerful and pivotal time in their lives. Those kids who are now 22, 23 and 24 want to bring that back.”
And they hope to continue to use the time block to bring more of the ’90s show than they’ve currently listed.
