This turned out to be a fakeout, which is cruel. But instead of feeling a major Friends letdown, let's celebrate the show with a look back at what we believe to be the all-time greatest episode of the show ever.

The best episode of Friends is... "The One Where No One's Ready."
We like it because it's a little weird. It's unconventional for the show. It's just a tiny little episode, a sliver of life, a real-time experience of them getting dressed for a big event. But it also gave us some the best moments of the series.
Throughout the whole thing, Chandler and Joey are fighting over a chair. It's a miniscule argument that shows their true brotherhood, as they sound like whiny siblings the whole time.
In the midst of their fight, they fling hummus on Phoebe's dress. She cover the stain with an enormous Christmas ribbon.
This culminates in Joey layering on all of Chandler's clothes at once, then doing lunges in them. He also gives us the series' first impersonation of Chandler's unique inflection: "Look at me, I'm Chandler. Could I be wearing any more clothes?"

Meanwhile, Monica is having a complete nervous breakdown because ex-boyfriend Richard left her a message and she's not sure if it's old or new. She leaves one of her own, swearing out loud to him that "I'm breezy." In modern times, this would have been a drunk text message for sure.
Of course, Ross and Rachel have some drama that results in the group giving Ross a true frat-boy challenge.
But in the end she finally gets ready, and comes out looking super-hot in a very '90s kind of way. She tells Ross that she's going commando just like Joey, and cements her spot as the hottest woman on TV.
