One less guard will be on duty at Buckingham Palace in London for Friday’s big royal wedding, after he posted offensive items on his Facebook page, some of which were aimed at Kate Middleton. Kate and Prince William are set to marry Friday morning at Westminster Abbey.
The British Ministry of Defence tells CNN that guard Cameron Reilly posted racial slurs against Pakistanis on his Facebook page, which was subsequently taken down.
“In view of the nature of the allegation, it would not be appropriate for the individual to be on parade for The Royal Wedding,” the Ministry of Defence said in a statement.
He also reportedly called Kate a “stuck-up cow” as well as an obscenity, but the Ministry did not confirm that allegation. Reilly listed “causing trouble” and “casually breaking” the law under his interests. Definitely a questionable choice of activities, considering he’s charged with patrolling the Palace!
