The sudden passing of Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson has left many stunned and looking for answers. Casey, 30, was pronounced dead yesterday morning when police responded to an ambulance death investigation on the 900 block of North Orlando Avenue in L.A. Casey’s fiancée, Tila Tequila, turned to her Twitter page to mourn as well as fellow heiress Paris Hilton, who shared many fond childhood memories with the late starlet.
“I feel so sad right now, my heart is in pain. Just lost a longtime friend. My heart goes out to her family. R.I.P. Casey Johnson Love you,” Paris Tweeted on Monday after the shocking and tragic news of Casey’s death.
“In bed crying, looking at baby pictures of Casey, Nicky and I. I feel so upset. I feel like I’ve lost a sister. My heart is broken. Miss her,” Paris wrote in another Tweet early this morning. “God has another Angel by his side. Casey, we all Love and Miss you and know that you are in a better place. R.I.P”
Casey’s death is still under investigation; however, police have found no evidence of foul play at this time.
Shortly after the news broke, a rep for the Johnson family issued the following statement.
“The Johnson family is mourning its tragic loss, and asks for privacy during this very difficult time,” the statement read.
Tila announced her engagement to the heiress last month on her UStream video.
After the news broke of her fiancée’s death online, Tila Tweeted: “Everyone please pray 4 my Wifey Casey Johnson. She has passed away. Thank u for all ur love and support but I will be offline to be w family”
Minutes later, the reality star began to report that she had learned Casey had gone into a coma, and was fighting for her life.
When confirmation of Casey’s death was posted online, Tila Tweeted the following, implying she is no longer holding out hope that Casey is still in a coma:
“I’m still in shock! Once again thank U for the outpour of love and support. I just wish to have some privacy at this heartbreaking time.”
This morning, Tila Tweeted, “I can’t stop these haunting visions of her and I. We made such a lovely couple, only beginning to spend the rest of our lives together.”
