Patrick Dempsey had a family first on Saturday when he took the kids out to the World Premiere of IRIS — A Journey Into the World of Cinema in Hollywood. While the little ones snacked on sweets, Patrick talked to reporters about the future of Grey's Anatomy and what to expect this season.

The star continued, "I think they're waiting to launch all their shows to see where the new ones end up; it's a big night for them tonight. So we'll see, I think it's yet to be determined for everybody and for the network to see what's working and what isn't."

"There's a lot of conflict but it's good. It was fun this year," Patrick said. "It's nice to see where the characters are going and it's all about the baby for Derek and Meredith and we'll see if that happens or not."

Hmm... he doesn't sound too hopeful about the chances of getting his onscreen baby, Zola, back either. But what about Patrick in real life? Are there more offscreen kids on the way?

"I wish I was younger to have more kids!" the star revealed to OK!
