Looks like the third time may be a charm for Paul McCartney! The former Beatle and fiancee Nancy Shevell posted a notice of intention to marry at London’s Marylebone Register Office, the very same place where he exchanged vows with first wife, Linda. Technically Paul and Nancy could tie the knot any time after September 30!
As reported by The Associated Press (via CBS News), Alison Cathcart, Westminster City Council’s superintendent registrar, said that she will officiate and was “delighted that Paul and Nancy have chosen Marylebone Town Hall for their special day.”
Paul originally married Linda in 1969; she died of cancer in 1998. At the time, Paul said that he and Linda spent only 11 nights apart during their entire marriage. They had four children together including fashion designer, Stella McCartney.
Remarrying in 2002, Paul exchanged vows with Heather Mills and had one child together. Their union ended in a bitter divorce in 2008.
