A woman in (where else!) New Jersey filed court documents to verify paternity, but Pauly D went ahead and took a paternity test and confirmed that he is indeed the father. In a statement to TMZ, he confirmed: I'm proud I'm a father. I am excited to embark on this new part of my life." He's also been retweeting congratulations and well wishes on Twitter most of the day from people telling him he'll be a great dad. And we agree!

Pauly D isn't the only parent from the Jersey Shore house, of course. Snooki is the proud mama to one-year-old Lorenzo, and several other cast members, including JWoww, Sammi, and Ronnie are all talking marriage.
