Prince Harry Makes a Diana-Inspired 'Personal' Trip to Africa

A big heart is genetic for Prince Harry. He is making a very special visit to the nation of Angola in southern Africa in a trip that is reminiscent of Diana's final days.

Prince Harry attends the "Stories of Hope" exhibition

Harry is in Angola to see the progress the HALO Trust, a British organization working around the world to clear unexploded bombs around the world . He will be visiting minefields and meeting with townspeople who have benefited from the group's work, says chief executive Guy Willoughby.

Diana made a similar trip in 1997, just a few months before her death. The image of her walking the minefields with protective headgear did a great deal to raise awareness of the issue. Harry also traveled to Mozambique in 2010 to see the work of HALO there.

The Palace called it a "personal and private" trip for Harry, who lost his mother at just 12 years old.
