This past weekend, tragedy struck in Toronto when Radiohead drum technician, Scott Johnson, lost his life after a stage collapsed on him when setting up for that evening's concert.
In respect to Saturday's tragedy, the British band are delaying seven European concerts scheduled to take place this month and the beginning of next.
"Whilst we all are dealing with the grief and shock ensuing from this terrible accident there are also many practical considerations to deal with & consequently we have to try and reschedule," the band said in a statement.
Radiohead is notorious for their intricate light shows, so the break will give the team time to repair and recreate what they had planned.
"This show was unique and will take many weeks to replace. The collapse also caused serious damage to our backline, some elements of which are decades old and therefore hard to replace," they wrote.
Shows scheduled from July 9 going forward will resume as planned.
