After weeks of speculation about the fate of Bravo's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the network has confirmed that the show will premiere on Sept. 5, despite the tragic suicide of Russell Armstrong.

“Bravo will proceed with the Monday, September 5 premiere date of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Frances Berwick, President, Bravo Media confirmed. "Given that these episodes were filmed months ago, the producers of the show taped a brief interview this week with several of the cast members to introduce the premiere. Re-editing of the episodes is still underway."

Berwick added, "Bravo has partnered with the Entertainment Industries Council, Inc. (EIC) to raise awareness about suicide prevention. The network will air various PSA’s during the ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.’ We will also provide additional information and resources on Bravotv.com, including the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.”

"Our thoughts continue to be with the Armstrong family during this difficult time,” he concluded.

Camille Grammer, Adrienne Maloof, Kyle and Kim Richards and Lisa Vanderpump appeared without talking points, without prompts and without their grieving co-star Taylor Armstrong to tape the brief interview that will air before the Season 2 premiere.

The devastating 911 call made by Russell’s friend when he found him hanged in the bedroom of a friends’ home on Aug. 15 was released yesterday, with Taylor sobbing in the background.
