Sarah Jessica Parker’s four-year-old twins, Marion and Tabitha, have inherited her love for fashion.

“I don’t get to dress them,” the Sex And The City style icon, 48, tells me Thursday during the New York City Ballet’s Fall Gala held at Lincoln Center. “They dress themselves! laughs”

In fact, while Sarah was getting ready to don her shimmery Prabal Gurung bustier and Olivier Theyskens skirt, the twins were enjoying their own fashion moment.

“They did see me dressed up, but they had on about nine dresses between the two of them today, before I left,” she says. “It eclipsed anything I did.”

Indeed, the twins may outshine mom in the diva department.

“I don’t have a vanity table,” she admits. “I have a hearth. A vanity table fits nowhere in the bedroom. I have a sink and a hearth. I have knees. I have hands. You know, it’s a flat surface.”

Sarah Jessica is also mom to son James Wilkie, 10, with actor hubby Matthew Broderick.
