Kim Kardashian has certainly made it clear that she wants her divorce from Kris Humphries finalized and done with (by way of, you know, filing for divorce and dating Kanye West), but things aren't moving fast enough for the reality star.

The Associated Press reports that Kim's lawyer, Laura Wasser, told a judge on Friday that the case has been delayed because of Kris' desire for an annulment.

The couple is now eligible for divorce since it has been six months since Kim's initial filing.

"I feel that Kris' personal feelings and maybe some media drive is keeping this case alive," Wasser said.

The judge declared that both sides can now be deposed, which means Kris' lawyers are able to ask Kim what her motivation was for marrying their client.

Kris' attorneys have said they need more time to decide whether they should pursue Kris' allegations that the 72-day marriage was a fraud; if the case goes to trial and Kim wins, things will wind up being much more costly for Kris, as Kim will likely ask that he pay her legal fees (currently, she is requesting that they each pay their own fees).

"Kim and her lawyer are trying to bully Kris into a settlement and that isn't going to happen," a friend of Kris told RadarOnline. "The only way this case won't go to trial is if Kim publicly apologizes to Kris, and admits she only married him for television ratings. Kris just wants the truth to come out and Kim is absolutely livid that she isn't getting her own way."

Both sides are expected to return to court on August 15 for a status hearing; neither Kim nor Kris were present at the Friday hearing.
