Rob Lowe Inadvertently Flew on 9/11 Dry Run Flight

As Parks and Recreation star Rob Lowe promoted his new book, Stories I Only Tell My Friends, turns out he revealed a shocking story. Without even knowing it, he was on the same flight as the 9/11 terrorists during their dry run!OK! NEWS: ROB LOWE ON SEX SCANDAL — "GREATEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME"

Back in 2001 when Rob starred in The West Wing, he had a close connection to the tragic events of September 11. According to The Huffington Post, yesterday he explained to hosts on The View, "I flew with the 911 hijackers on the dry run, without realizing. I was shooting The West Wing in D.C. at the time and I always took the flight that leaves Dulles to Los Angeles that they eventually put into the Pentagon."

Merely 11 days before that horrific day, Rob mentioned the flight on a small plane was packed. "Looked around the cabin, don't remember anything in particular, nobody looked scary, nobody looked like a terrorist. It looked like an absolutely normal flight."
