Although the actor didn't come right out and address the Kristen Stewart scandal, he didn't exactly try to brush it under the rug, either. Jon greeted him onstage and indicated two containers of ice cream, saying, "We're just a couple of gals talking. Tell me everything."

He confessed, "I'm going to hire a publicist."

As Jon focused on the ice cream again, he explained to the actor, "The last time I had a breakup, Ben & Jerry got me through some of the tougher times, so I thought you and I could bond over this, and talk. 'Boy, you are better off kicking her to the curb!'"

After talking about tthe movie Cosmopolis, because hey, that was the real reason why the Twilight star was on the show, Jon concluded the interview by saying, "My wish for you is that you get to handle your business and personal life in private. I wish you all the best."
