Anyone in the mood for a George Clooney/Ryan Gosling collaboration? The hot young Hollywood actor is said to be in negotiations to play the lead role in the the Clooney-directed political drama, Farragut North.
The Silver Fox's rep confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that Ryan is currently in negotiations to play the lead role — "a young communications director who gets wrapped up in the dark side of political campaigns."
Seems like a dynamite duo — Oscar nominee working under a Oscar winner. Plus it will definitely make for some eye candy of the red carpets!
Ryan is already receiving acclaim for his role opposite Michelle Williams in the drama Blue Valentine.
He is currently filming the action picture Drive opposite Carey Mulligan and Christina Hendricks.
