In the first week of the Britney Spears' trial, Sam Lutfi provided explosive testimony with his version of what happened between him and the pop singer's family after Brit had her public breakdown in 2007.
The former manager of the X Factor host claims her father Jamie Spears physically assaulted him.
Sam said Jamie "barged into the house, lunged at me with fists balled, and chased me around the kitchen island", while the two argued over who should take care of Brit. "He was spitting, shouting and angry, saying I'd better leave Britney alone or he'd beat the hell out of me," he continued.
The incident took place at Brit's house while she was in the hospital receiving care for her meltdown and Jamie was asked to leave by his daughter's security.
He allegedly came back the next morning.
"He came in, started yelling at me, accusing me that I was abusing his wife [Lynne], cornered me in the kitchen, punched me in the [chest] and threatened to kill me," Sam added.
Sam, is suing Britney and her parents for breach of contract, libel and defamation stemming from comments Brit's mom wrote in her 2008 book, Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World, which he claims forced him to endure "unfathomable amounts of ridicule and public scorn."
According to RadarOnline.com, Sam broke down on the stand a few times on Wednesday saying the remarks about him in Lynne's book resulted in a "huge spike in death threats, mainly from Britney's fans…and people wished harm on my family," which made him feel "depressed, anxious and suicidal."
The trial is expected to last for two more weeks with Jamie, Lynne and Britney's Jason Trawick fiancé scheduled to testify.
