Sandy Hook To Tear Down Elementary School

It has been almost a year since the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. After a vote on Saturday, Newtown residents have officially accepted a $50 million grant to tear down and rebuild  the facility.

Since the devastating event, students have been attending class at a neighboring school in Monroe county. With an unofficial vote of 4,504 to 558, Newtown voters agreed with officials to accept the grant to have classes return to Sandy Hook.  Stay tuned for more updates on OKMagazine.com and please continue those affected in your thoughts.
