The intimate group of about 50 or so guests noshed for $40,000 a plate and raked in about $2 million for Obama's reelection campaign.
"You’re the tie-breaker,” the president said. “You’re the ultimate arbiter of which direction this country goes.”

Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, Meryl Streep, Bravo's Andy Cohen and Michael Kors, all donated for the cause and hung out with SJP's affable offspring, James Wilkie, who hung out during the dinner.
