What better way for Charlie Sheen to get back on the right track then by heading to Haiti for charity work? Old friend Sean Penn, who has made a big difference in the Caribbean country with his philanthropic efforts, responded to the Two and Half Men star’s recent comment about going to Haiti with excitement, according to new reports.

"I think his energies, intelligence and passion could be both of service and servicing to him, as it is to all who are touched by the struggle of the Haitian people," Sean explained of Charlie possibly helping his endeavors in Haiti, as reported first by Access Hollywood.

Sean explains that he would love to show Charlie, who recently finished up a short bout in rehab for susbstance abuse, how much aid the country needs, even more so after a destructive quake hit Port Au Prince last year.

"I would very much like to show my old friend the world of needs on the ground in Haiti, and introduce him and his tremendous wit to our hard working Haitian staff. If he chooses to give support, I'll trust it,” Sean added.
