While the controversy rages on, one group has decided to weigh in by creating their own version of the hit song's video.

What makes Mod Carousel's take on "Blurred Lines" so unique? Three females parody Robin, Pharrell Williams and TI. And the women strutting around in thongs and heels in the original version have been replaced with men.

"It's our opinion that most attempts to show female objectification in the media by swapping the genders serve more to ridicule the male body than to highlight the extent to which women get objectified, and does everyone a disservice," explains Mod Carousel.

"We made this video specifically to show a spectrum of sexuality as well as present both women and men in a positive light, one where objectifying men is more than alright and where women can be strong and sexy without negative repercussions."

Robin isn't impressed with the group's opinion about his music.

"Well, sexist? They need to come up with something more original than that. To me, if my videos are sexist, then so are the paintings at the Louvre," Robin recently told Digital Spy.

"I just wanted to make a funny video like Benny Hill or something like that. The video director said, 'What if all the girls are naked?' I said, 'That could be pretty funny, that can be like Benny Hill-type stuff.'"
