Selena Gomez worried not only her fans but also her family when she was hospitalized Friday for malnutrition. The 18-year-old singer/actress is now home in Dallas for a bit and, according to a recent report, her mom is going to make sure she takes it easy.

According to PopEater, Justin Bieber's girlfriend will be taking it easy over the next few weeks to make sure she's healthy, and her mom, Mandy, will be enforcing it.

"Selena's mom is amazing," a friend of the family told PopEater. "She doesn't want to be in the spotlight herself like so many other celebrity parents. Instead, she just wants to make sure that her daughter remains normal while living such an extraordinary life."

After her appearance on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Selena was rushed to the hospital feeling dizzy and nauseous.

"Her schedule is insane," a source close to Selena told PopEater. "She is one of the hardest-working people in show business, but now even Selena knows she needs to slow down. You have no idea how much work goes into promoting a record or film."

Yesterday, Selena promoted her new film, Monte Carlo, in Santa Monica and performed her hit single with The Scene, "Who Says."

This Friday she is slated to perform on Good Morning America. But, as of now, she seems to be resting in Dallas.

She Tweeted earlier today: “Feels so good to be home. I love you Dallas!”
