As she picked up the pieces of her life and recently got re-married and worked on building up her voice again, it looks like Shania Twain’s career is rebooting as well. Check that, catapulting! Shania landed a new gig in Las Vegas and will share the same stage as Celine Dion.
Starting this December, Shania will perform her show, “Shania: Still the One,” at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. She’s in contract to perform 60 shows each year. The country star told Entertainment Tonight, “Just the fact that it’s an opportunity to reconnect with the fans again, with the public. I love the interaction with the people.”
She added, “And you know, you can’t do that any other way, unless you’re onstage. So it’s a chance to celebrate again with the public.”
Plus, by staying local in Vegas and not having to do concerts on the road, Shania will get to spend more time with her son, Eja. She pointed out, “I’m at a very good place. I’m at a very, very good place. I’ve come such a long way and I’m very grateful for the whole journey, really.”
