The Situation Shares "Truth" on Rehab Reports & Admits "Prescription Medication Problem"

Reports surfaced yesterday that Jersey Shore star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino had checked himself into rehab. Today, Mike is "setting the record straight" on the reports and admitting he has a problem with prescription medication.

The Situation's rep told OK! yesterday, "He has spent several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule."

His rep also said that the MTV star was not in rehab for substance abuse as other reports had claimed, but Mike himself revealed today that he has problem with prescription drugs.

Mike Tweeted a link to his statement on his website, writing, "Here's the truth. Love all my fans."

On his official website he wrote, "I want to set the record straight. I have voluntarily taken steps to get control of a prescription medication problem I had due to exhaustion. I have spent the past several weeks getting treatment for this problem and recuperating from my work and appearance schedule. I appreciate my fans support and love you guys."
