'Skins' Loses a Fifth Big Sponsor: Subway

And Subway makes five. MTV's new show, Skins, has lost another sponsor after Subway also decided to pull commercials from the controversial new show.

Subway "will not be advertising on Monday's episode," a rep for the company told The Hollywood Reporter.

The controversial show has already lost four sponsors according to THR and now Subway makes five.

The Parents Television Council launched a campaign on Sunday urging viewers to complain to Subway for its decision to advertise.

Taco Bell also pulled their commercials from the show saying "it is not a fit for our brand."

Other brands to go include H&R Block, Wrigley and GM, according to TMZ.

According to The New York Times (via MSNBC), Viacom executives met with the producers of Skins to discuss toning down upcoming episodes for fear of violating child pornography laws.

An investigation of the show was asked for by The PTC from the Department of Justice and U.S. Senate and House Judiciary Committees.
