Stars Spread St. Patrick's Day Spirit on Twitter

Stars from far and wide took to their Twitter accounts this morning to ring in St. Patrick’s Day with a few fun and festive posts, honoring the Irish holiday.

“Happy St. Patrick's Day lovers!!!!” Black Eyed Peas front woman Fergie tweeted as she started off her spirited morning, while late night talk show host Jimmy Fallon echoed her sentiments writing, “Happy St. Patrick’s Day!”

While St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated as a universal holiday, it seems to be even more special for singer Michelle Branch, who is actually of Irish descent.

“Happy St. Patrick's Day my fellow Irishmen,” Michelle tweeted on Saturday afternoon.

Still, not everyone who partakes in the day’s festivities has to be officially Irish. Take former N’Sync band member Joey Fatone, for example.

“Happy St Patrick's Day! Even though I am Italian. My brother in law is full blooded straight out of Dublin so I guess I am a bit Irish,” Joey tweeted.

Twilight star Ashley Greene couldn’t help but joke about her last name making sense for the all-green celebration.
