Stephen Colbert Resumes Taping of 'The Colbert Report'

Stephen Colbert's hit show, The Colbert Report, will hit airwaves again tonight. After a brief and sudden hiatus last week, the show will begin airing original episodes again.

OK! NEWS: STEPHEN COLBERT CANCELS THE COLBERT REPORT PRODUCTION THIS WEEK Last week, a rep for Comedy Central told E! News, "Due to unforeseen circumstances, the show will air repeat episodes on Wednesday, Feb. 15 and Thursday, Feb. 16." VIDEO: WATCH STEPHEN COLBERT SLAM SARAH PALIN'S "RESTORATION OF AMERICA" BUS TOUR Although Stephen hasn't directly commented on last week's emergency, many believe the suspended show was due to a family emergency with his 91-year-old mother. On Friday the host Tweeted, "My family and I would like to thank everyone who has offered their thoughts and prayers. We are grateful and touched by your concern."
