After all the hoopla and speculation surrounding Tiger Woods' single-car crash, the Florida Highway Patrol announced in a press conference this afternoon that the pro golfer will only be issued a $164 ticket for careless driving. A slap on the wrist for Tiger, who was rumored to be driving away from the home after a domestic spat.

The FHP said the investigation is complete and it will not seek any search warrants for his medical records, TMZ reports.

The law enforcement agency also says no one involved has made claims of domestic violence, according to TMZ.

Meanwhile, the stories about Tiger and his alleged other woman, Rachel Uchitel, continue to swirl. Some things aren't solved with a simple ticket!

Instead of giving a statement to the Florida Highway Patrol after the accident Friday, where Tiger hit a tree and fire hydrant while backing out of his driveway, the pro golfer resorted to his own website to tend to accusations flying regarding his spouse’s violent upset.

“As you all know, I had a single-car accident earlier this week, and sustained some injuries. I have some cuts, bruising and right now I’m pretty sore,” the 33-year-old golfer posted on his homepage.

Despite reports that Elin Nordegren scratched Tigers' face and ran after him with a golf club, the father of two claims on his site that, “This situation is my fault, and it’s obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I’m human and I’m not perfect… The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me.”
