This morning at 8:46 am ABC's Good Morning America, CBS This Morning and the cable news networks all observed a moment of silence for the first plane that crashed into the World Trade Center 11 years ago.
NBC's Today Show was the rebellious station out of the lot and chose to forgo the annual memorial in favor of… Kris Jenner talking about getting her breast implants replaced.
"I thought it was such a great idea to film that," she told Savannah Guthrie of last week's story arc involving Kris visiting the family surgeon. "You know, take them out and change them after 10 years."
Kris continued, saying she thought the show served as a wonderful platform for women who may forget to "check their expiration date."
"That was a big message and important for me to sort of put out there in a comical way," she said. "You know, I made fun of myself. Because at my age, you're over 50 — like, when do you stop?"
Meanwhile, viewers chastised NBC saying the decision to feature Kris and not a 9/11 remembrance was in bad taste and an "all time low" for the network.
