Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' marriage may have come to a sudden and shocking end, but the former couple are remaining on good terms for their daughter Suri.

People reports the two have a "civilized routine," with regard to their six-year-old and the pair "are talking," a source tells the magazine. "They are both going to do what's best for Suri."

And what's best for Suri has included everything from trips to the Bronx Zoo, Disney World and being enrolled in a $40,000 a year private school in New York where she starts in September.
In the divorce settlement, which was reached in early July, Katie, 33, won primary physical custody of Suri, but Tom, 50, has generous visitation rights.
