'Two and a Half Men' Will Not Earn Emmy This Year

Don't look now but Two and a Half Men is being snubbed by the Emmys! The show won't exactly win a Best Comedy Series Emmy Award, mainly because CBS executives haven't submitted the show for the coveted honor!

According to Deadline (via PopEater), Two and a Half Men met the category's requirements since there were 16 shows produced and aired but considering all the drama that went on surrounding the comedy, execs didn't feel it was appropriate.

Despite the lack of nomination for the show, the doesn't mean its stars are left out in the dust! The studio completely backs its co-stars Jon Cryer, Holland Taylor, Angus T. Jones and Conchata Ferrell. Charlie Sheen's name is noticeably absent!

The Emmy Awards will air on September 18.
