After Whitney Houston's shocking Feb. 11 death in a bathtub at the Beverly Hills Hilton, her 18-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, suffered a breakdown, howling with grief in the hotel lobby. Twice, Bobbi was taken to L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for treatment; though her father, Whitney's ex-husband Bobby Brown, reported the distraught teen "was doing much better," friends and family fear for her future.

"Her hands are shaking, she can't eat, she can't sleep," an insider tells OK!. "She stays up all night and she's getting bombarded with paparazzi and reporters. She lost her best friend, her mother, her everything.
"Bobbi definitely likes to party, just like her mom and dad," adds the insider. "So the fear is that when all the shock wears off she is going to self medicate with booze and pills and wind up like Whitney."

Ironically, shortly before Whitney's death, she sat her daughter down for a heart-to-heart — one that, sadly, served as a last, loving gift. "Their talk was about avoiding the dangers of Hollywood," a source tells OK!. "Whitney was very worried about Bobbi getting sucked down the same dark path. Like she often did, she reminded her how important it was to stay on track. She saw a lot of potential in Bobbi but also saw the potential for self-destruction and that simply terrified Whitney. She was desperate to keep her safe."
