Will Ferrell & Zach Galifianakis Launch Fake Political Campaign Tour for 'The Campaign'

Sure, the U.S. presidential election will be held this fall, but this summer there will be an election of another kind. Sort of.

Comedians Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis have officially kicked off their very own 11-city "campaign tour" to promote their new movie, aptly titled The Campaign.

Their first stop? The Grove in L.A. yesterday morning. They were decked out in character as political rivals from North Carolina. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Will quipped, "Thank you for coming out to the historic Grove."

Then Zach added, "Where even the homeless people are fake." 

It sounds like The Campaign campaign looked pretty real — right down to announcing their faux political ambitions at their respective podiums. If he won, Will explained, "I would do exactly what the Congresspeople are doing right now — nothing. I'd just hang out in Washington, go to great restaurants."
