Twitter user @nattieskiddo (Hey!) asked me about summer hair trends, so here are my ideas on how to style your do ladies!
I look forward to all the fun things I can do with my hair every week for our #SDLive tapings and with summer approaching, I'm like a kid in a candy shop! I like to try new stuff and change it up and be different! Why not?

Some of my favorite summer hair trends are anything with braids! Lots and lots of braids! I love a big fishtail braid or a messy half braid with hair loosely falling. Braids along the side of my head, with the other side down yells fierce! I love pig tails with braids and I also love to rock a braid faux hawk! Not only do braids bring out the inner Game of Thrones in us, but they exude a summer spirit that says "I'm young and carefree!" Which we all are at heart...I promise!!
And let's not forget about the classic bun. Suns out, buns out! Topknots are the hottest trend around right now and we can all thank David Beckham for that.
I love wearing my hair half up and half down and then finishing it off with a topknot or a little baby bun. I've even convinced Smackdown Live superstar Dolph Ziggler that this is the best look for him, too! And then we take 18 selfies together rocking our matching topknots! After 17 selfies, I always get one right!
Another trend I'm loving right now is the high pony. I saw Jennifer Lopez at the Met Gala with one this week and Gwen Stefani on The Voice rocking the cutest fiercest high pony I’ve ever seen. It's also like an instant lift to your face and a great way to stay cool (literally and figuratively) in the summer. You can rock a high pony with anything!
Dress it up, dress it down... but it's all about bringing the game plan: CONFIDENCE, which I might add... is the secret to a successful life!
